Black is always a great color to add to a space to make it more dramatic. I am a huge fan of black and white spaces which will always be timeless. You can add a little bit of drama or go all out.
Adding a black accent wall while keeping the rest of the walls white is a great way to get drama without making the space too dark. From there it's a matter of bringing in other lighter colors to balance out the space still using some black to tie it all together.
